I started this project nearly a month ago back when I was working on the anthro-inspired flower pillow. I was waiting until the fear of frost was gone for Central Ohio to finally plant my herbs and was told May 15 is the magic number for frost free nights. I cheated on May 5 after looking at the 10-day weather forecast and there was no frost in sight, so I’m taking the gamble a few days early.

I was listening to npr yesterday on my way to the doctors and heard that today was poet in your pocket day.Write down one of your favorite poems and pass it on to a co-worker,friend,loving husband,(i forgot to put a poem in my husbands pocket this morning!darn)anyone! lots o’ sunshine

Today is the first day and first post of my new blog!I can’t wait ’till it really gets rolling along and i am so excited to meet you all!The past few days have brought cooler temp’s and much needed rain for my garden where i am trying my hand at growing cauliflower and broccoli in pots.I am still trying to figure out all the in and  outs of pixels,dashboard and how to change my header-I am very new at this.So,there will be more to come and lots of pics to follow.Have a great night!cl
